User Repository Quota

Administrators can optionally limit the size of the user's repository to a maximum. This feature forces users to delete unwanted emails from their accounts and keeps disk usage low on the machine running Xeams.

This feature only applies when running Xeams in either Stand-Alone or Hybrid mode.

Specifying Quota Limits

Use the following steps to specify the quota for a user:

  • Log in as the administrator.
  • Click Server Configuration/Manage Users and click Edit for the desired user.
  • Specify a value for the Disk Quota field - for example, 5GB.
  • Save

Xeams will not accept any more emails for users that exceed their quota limits.
