How to view message headers in Windows Mail

IMPORTANT: Although you can download the email, messages from Windows Mail no longer have the full original message headers.

Please follow the instructions below to view message headers in Windows Mail:

Look for the email you want to view the headers for.
Click on the message to view the email body.
On the upper right side, click on the three dots (More actions), then click on Save As. This will save the file as an .eml file
Open this file with a text editor, such as notepad. This will open up the partial headers.
