1. optXeams/ used to be a directory in our very old QNAP package for Xeams. Xeams used to run in a container-station, which had this directory.

The newer QNAP package no longer uses a container to run Xeams. The new package usually installs in either /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Xeams directory or /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Xeams directory.

2. Yes, that should work. Yes, the directories (and files) you see in the moving xeams article are the ones you need to move over. Make sure Xeams is currently not running, then move over the files, then start Xeams again.
