Is there anyway to limit the recipient domain on a smtp relay? I only want to relay emails to 1 domain and block everything else.

Thanks

Markdem,

The easiest way to implement this is to configure Xeams with the one domain you want and to disallow relaying. Here are the steps:

  • Go to Server Configuration and ensure your Xeams is running in Firewall mode
  • Go to Server Configuration > SMTP Configuration, select the Domains tab, and ensure you only have one domain - the one you want. The Forward To field must point to the next server that will receive the message.
  • Select the Relaying tab and ensure that the relay is closed and no one is allowed to relay.

Once this is done, Xeams will accept emails for recipients in the domain you want. Every other domain will get an error saying "Relaying denied".
