Hi all,

I'm trying to setup DKIM to my server. I've created a new domain in the dkim xeams page and added the TXT to the domain via godaddy.

I left it for an hour and checked the page again. The domain still flagged as inactive.

I've tried recreating everything but still no luck. Am I missing something?

Cheers

Two most common reasons for this issue are:

  1. The TXT record is entered incorrectly. Did you run the nslookup command from outside your network to see if it exists?
  2. Your Xeams is configured to use a DNS server that also has record for your domain but does not have the DKIM key. This typically happens when companies use an in-house DNS server internally but have their actual record on the Internet, such as GoDaddy.

If you don't mind pasting the host name of your TXT here, we can check it from our end to see if it is valid. You will have to put your selector along with your domain name.

dkim page tells to create  a txt with

<selector>._domainkey.<domain>

for godaddy you should only use

<selector>._domainkey
