Replying to a message from: Richard

Hi,

I am trying to pull in my users from Active Directory (SBS 2011 - pretty much Win2008R2 running Exchange 2010).

I have configured TLS, but when I try to draw in my users into XEAMS, I get the following error:

Unable to connect to Active Directory. Error: javax.naming.AuthenticationNotSupportedException: [LDAP: error code 8 - 00002028: LdapErr: DSID-0C0901FB, comment: The server requires binds to turn on integrity checking if SSL\TLS are not already active on the connection, data 0, v1db1]

What does this error message mean, and how do I fix it?

(I believe my TLS is working fine as:

1. I can run TLS tests from https://checktls.com

2. my TLS certificate is my SAN server certificate on remote.MYDOMAIN.COM, mail.MYDOMAIN.COM, www.MYDOMAIN.COM so I get a security warning of mismatched certificate when I try to connect to https://localhost:5273

)

Thanks

Richard
