Hello, I just installed the xeams Version 7.7, build 617, with centos 7. I have already done the registration.
I will use it as a relay (spam firewall), however when I make changes to the configuration pages, and I click save, it does not save and returns to the xeams login page

Since you installed this on CentOS, I assume your browser is on Windows. Do you access any other server from this Windows machine to your CentOS box using HTTPS? I ask because often browsers do not allow you to submit HTTP post requests if you have used HTTPS on the same host before but are using HTTP right now.

Try running your browser in Private/Incognito mode to see if that changes anything or use a different browser.

I am glad it worked. Keep the following rule in mind.

  • Modern browsers do not allow POST requests over HTTP if HTTPS was recently used. If you have another web server on the same host that uses HTTPS, you won't be able to submit POST requests without SSL.
  • There are two ways to fix this:
    1. Use a different browser or the same browser in Private/Incognito mode
    2. Enable SSL in Xeams.
