Hi,

I am facing an issue with yahoo, We send emails to yahoo users which are around 150+, s. So after a few emails sent, Yahoo starts to block as suspicion of spam attack.

So how can I limit the sending of 3 emails per minute with an interval of 15 minutes, and then send the other queued emails? Like configuring 3-5 emails every 15 minutes.

Thanks

Abdul,

The current version of Xeams does not throttle outbound emails. I can certainly add this in our wish list for a future version.

However, a more important question is why are so many messages going out to Yahoo? Is one or more of your user trying to send out marketing emails? You should be able to search yahoo in message repository to see why are so many messages going out and who is sending them.

Please note that even when throttling is enabled, you will have to figure out who and why are so many emails going out to Yahoo. I say that because once throttling is enabled, it will penalize legitimate emails and they will get delayed.

Our marketing team sends reports to our subscribers around 1500+ on a daily basis. We have configured Xeams for yahoo clients with a separate send connector from our Exchange server; As Xeams fulfills the configuration of DKIM that yahoo requires.

From 1500+ subscribers we have 150+ from yahoo users, and still, yahoo is detecting as unusual traffic from our IP. So I would be throttling only the yahoo users, and all other legit emails will be passing through our regular traffic.
