SPF is a type of TXT record. Sometimes,some domain has several TXTs. For example, carrefour.com has about 18 different TXT records,when the mail from this domain,spam check result is MISSING SPF,but actually,it is exist,some other domain that have 4-7 different TXT records also have such issue.

So the software needs to get all txt records and search the key word: v=spf  (v=spf1........ or v=spf2.0/pra.........) to check whether the SPF record is exist.

Tommy,

Xeams already does that. Try the following:

  • Log in as "admin" to your web interface
  • Click "Tools" (the actual link on the menu - do not click any sub-item under the menu)
  • The next page will display several tools. One of them will be DNS Lookup.
  • Try doing a DNS Lookup on carrefour.com
  • You should see a confirmation saying it supports SPF
  • If you don't see that confirmation, use a different DNS server on the machine where Xeams is installed.

I have checked,it is really the DNS issue.
