Hello

I am a linux machine named magnoshop.com

Its a server magnoshop.com using dynamic IP and using afraid.org from redirect the name to my actual IP

My email system work fine when was installled on a windows 7 machine using mailenable as mail server

Now, i try replace all for linuxmint and Xeams

The problem is that when I try to access the email account through a pop3 client, a message appear: invalid user id/password specified

In Xeams, the user login id box is: cesar@magnoshop.com and in the "server host name" box is magnoshop.com

In the thunderbird client: in account name is cesar@magnoshop.com in name: cesar and in the "email address" box: cesar@magnoshop.com

The password was verified several times.

What is wrong?

Cesar,

I have a guess. It is quite possible Thunderbird is still connecting to the older server. Another possibility is an incorrect password.

Among other logs, Xeams contains a log called InvalidPasswordAttemps.log. Check this file to see if your requests from Thunderbird is even hitting the correct Xeams server.
