I'm running Xeams in "Spam Firewall" mode, inbound only, with just the SMTP Proxy Server configured. I would like to begin routing outbound email through Xeams as well to improve spam filtering and to enable a spam learner email address. I'm having trouble finding documentation on setting this up, but I assume I would enable the SMTP Server using "SMTP Server Configuration". However test emails get stuck in queue. My ISP blocks outbound TCP 25, so I configured a Smart Host in "Manage Smart Host" but it doesn't appear that it is being used. Outbound Email Diagnostics always reports "Error: connect timed out" for any domain that I test.

Greg,

Download Email Sender from http://xeams.com/email-sender.htm and try sending an email directly to your smart host. Let us know if that is working.
