Ok, after years of running in Standalone mode I have switched to Firewall mode but have a couple of questions?
Do I have to add my users emails as users on Xeams in order for them to get reports? I run mailman listserv, do I need to associate all the addresses for list together so it only counts as 1 user? Could not use distribution lists in standalone mode as someone else needed to manage lists ONLY and I coluld not figure out how to give them access to a list only. |

Mike, Answer 1: Yes, you will have to add local users in Xeams in order to receive quarantine reports. Answer 2: Xeams only cares about the Recipient's Email address when determining license count. The way I see it, every member of the mailing list will be using one email address for the recipient and therefore, that is the only address you need to add in Xeams as a user. The actual expansion of the list will be done by Mailman and therefore, that is irrelevant of Xeams. |
