A few hours ago, I was automatically updated to Xeams Community Edition Version 6.1, build 5960. After this automatic update, Xeams turns off filtering. I have no clue as to why this is happening as it has been working for +1 year (except from the patch last week or so, when the AD integration was broken). Is the last build broken? How can I track the reason for why it is being switched off? |

Martin, Go to About under Tools and check what is the user count. If the AD integration was broken, it is very likely the actual user count went pass the purchased license count. When this happens, Xeams sends alerts via email to the administrator. If these alerts are ignored, it will eventually turn off filtering. Let contact us via email and we can help you fix this issue. |

I now have an active user count of 7. Previously I had 5. I have 7 users in total, but 2 of these are set as inactive but they are still being included in the active user count. In the log I get "Disabling filtering due to restricted license" |

To answer the question about the AD integration... It was broken with the last automatic update, but a few hours a version was published that fixed the issue and I downloaded and installed that manually which fixed the AD problem and that has been working since then, but the last update included a change in how the active count is working and it does not seem to be related to the broken AD integration in the previous version. |

What do you mean by "two users are not active"? If they are not getting any emails, I recommend removing them from Xeams. There was a slight change in the licensing algorithm. |

They are set to "inactive" in the users module to be able to activate later on. They were automatically populated from the AD and used during the trial. When deleting them it seems to be working. |

Xeams looks at 5 days of data in order to compute the actual user count. Did it switch back to Enterprise Edition? If not, let us know and we can generate a temporary number that will last for 10 days, allowing the count to settle down. |

After deleting those users it seems to have gone back to working again. No number needed. :) |
