In the new version 6.0, build 5948, whenever I mark a "Possible Spam" message as good and check the Move Email checkbox it will resend the email to Exchange. So that I will have the same message twice. Is that the expected behavior ? At least Xeams didn't do it this way in previous versions.

Oliver, This is the expected behavior. If you decide to restore an email, it will appear twice in your inbox. If you don't want that, simply don't restore it. Build 5948 did change something that is causing the difference you experience now. Every message has a special header called MessageID. Exchange uses this header to identify emails internally. Earlier versions of Xeams use to simply send the message again as-is during restore. Since the message ID was identical between the first and the subsequent restored messages, Exchange would gobble that message up without delivering it to the actual INBOX. The latest build changes the value of this header when a user restores any message. Since the ID is different, Exchange displays the message again. |
