Hello,

Every time I opened the xeams web console,  SMTP services will be terminated.

From the Xeams.log :

What build number are you using? Try manually patching Xeams and see if that fixes the problem. The link is http://xeams.com/ManuallyPatching.htm

Hazman,

We started having this problem as well (version 4.8) today. I found that if we shut down the service, and launch it from the run.bat the SMTP will stay running until someone logs into the web interface. I have temporarily blocked the web interface from being accessed so that the SMTP stays running for now. If I find anything else I will post back.

Problem is reproducible on any of the 4.8 builds tested. Solution is to either go older (4.7) or newer.

Why did this just start happening? We've been running Version: 4.8 - build: 5792 as a proxy spam gateway for a long time. Now all of the sudden I am getting complaints about mail delivery to find the proxy server dropping faster than I can start it. Log shows: INFO  net.SmtpProxy - SMTP Proxy server terminated.

I have changed the port on the web interface to prevent this. Certainly there is a solution to resolve this. If anyone can resolve this please let me know.

Well I am not getting any responses to why this is happening with 4.8. Can you tell me what the best stable free build is and where to get it?
