The daily admin report is no longer being generated. Mail is going through but we no longer received the daily recap. The admin setting is turned on but there's nothining in the Outbound mail log.
It last worked in August 2016.
Is there any setting file that we can look at to see if there's something else up? |

Not really. It's not the user's report that is missing - it's the Administrator's daily summary. Since it's a relay server for "no-reply" type of emails, we don't have user reports enabled. But the administrator should still get a recap of the day's activity. Like I indicated above, it used to work - and for some reason one day it just stopped sending the administrator's report. |

And there's nothing in any of the log files indicating the report was even generated... and there's nothing in the Outbound queue. I have another server running the same version of Xeams (the current one, that was hit with the Asynchronous bug) and I get daily reports no problem.. and I can see them being generated and sent in the log. The server that's working is a Windows server, the one that's not is an Ubuntu server. Are there some permissions that need to be set on specific directories to allow the generation of the report? |

James, Go to Server Configuration and ensure the admin's emails is correct and "Send Daily Status Reports" is checked. Do you see anything messages sitting in the OutboundMailQueue for these reports?

The email address is valid and the "send daily status reports" is indeed checked. The outbound mail queue is empty. Interestingly enough, the emails about the recent upgrades were sent (from OutboundAuditTrailSuccess.log): 2016-10-05 00:26:56,267 - [ 36380] 127.0.0.1,postmaster@domain.com,postmaster@domain.com,11995,Subject: Xeams has been updated to version 5.3 build 5858 (Domain and IP's have been masq'd, obviously.) |

Until we can figure out a root cause, is there another way to trigger the report manually? An option in the UI like the user report would be ideal, but at this point I will take anything. |

Did you see anything in the SMTPOutboundConversation.log ? Try generating a report manually and watch this log file. |

Sorry, there is nothing in the SMTPOuboundConversation.log to indicate anything going out for the admin daily report. (The issue is with the admin daily report that is not being generated, not the user report. I don't know how to manually generate the admin daily report.) I did generate an email directly from a user mailbox on the server and it did get delivered (saw it in the SMTPOuboundConversation.log). |

I know this is an old thread.. But I am having the exact same issue. The "Daily Status Reports" have stopped working on my win2008r2 server. They stopped working quite some time ago.. Just like James, I have confirmed the administrators email address, the Send Daily Status Report option on the server config page is checked. I am getting Update messages to the admin email, but am not getting the "Daily Status Reports" anymore.
Is there any new info about this problem? |

One additional note.. my Xeams administrator email is an external email.. not in the xeams system. |
