We are looking at replacing our 2010 Edge Server with MS Forefront Protection for Exchange with Xeams - got it all up and running (in parallel) and testing. We are running MS Exchange 2013 internally, with Malware Protection turned on. Could someone tell me whether it is possible for Xeams to actually strip any attachments identified as viruses and then forward the email onto Exchange? The only option we can find is to actually just label it as Spam and forward onto Exchange, but not strip the attachment. Exchange would then remove the attachment, but we'd like this to happen prior to Exchange receiving the message. Any options for virus management would be great...
